Press Release Summary = A recent survey shows that majority of Brits have no financial plans for the future.
Press Release Body = London (loans-bazaar) June 19, 2007: A survey from National Savings & Investments (NS&I), a financial services firm, revealed that 55 per cent of Brits concede having no financial plans for the future. Strikingly, 15 per cent said that they do not even think about their finances.
A total of 1533 people were questioned. Around one-third of Britons said that they do not worry about their personal finance problems because they either expected to earn more money in the future, receive a windfall of some sort or be able to borrow money whenever a need arose.
Before you take out personal loans, a financial planning is desirable. But, in the absence of any financial planning for future, many Brits take out personal loans as and when the need arises.
Dax Harkins, a senior savings strategist at NS&I, said: \"It\'s a real concern that such a high percentage of people haven\'t made a financial plan for their future, and even more worrying that a significant number are basing their financial security on their future earnings potential.\"
